
Jeff Mullis
Jeff Mullis, previously serving eleven two-year terms as a state senator representing Georgia’s 53rd district, including Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties, is a notable political leader in Georgia. He served as Chairman of the Senate Rules Committee and was a member of several key committees, including Appropriations, Economic Development and Tourism, Ethics, and Regulated Industries and Utilities. Mullis also chaired the Senate Music Committee, the Halls of Fame Joint Committee, and the Joint Georgia Music Heritage Study Committee. Appointed by Governors Deal and Kemp to the Georgia Film, Music, and Digital Entertainment Advisory Commission, he is also the Chairman Emeritus of the Sportsman Caucus. Recognized by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Georgia” for ten consecutive years and by James Magazine as one of the “Most Influential Political Leaders in Georgia” for eight consecutive years, Mullis has received numerous awards for his public service. Currently, he serves as an Economic Developer in Northwest Georgia. Born and raised in Chickamauga, Georgia, Mullis is married with three children and one grandchild, and is a member of the Chickamauga First Baptist Church. Despite his accolades, his primary focus remains on his constituents in Northwest Georgia.
